This woodpecker sculpture is made from handprinted papers. It is one of a kind. The design is based on a great spotted woodpecker, which can be found in Britain visiting our gardens and forests. He has a peach and white belly, with black and white back feathers and the signature tuft of red at the top of his head. He is made entirely of 300 GSM paper, which is a very sturdy cardstock, which ensures he is very sturdy. His body is covered with hand cut paper feathers. His eyes are sparkly black cabochons and his feet at paper wrapped steel wire. He is one of a kind. He is varnished with a UV protective lacquer, which seals his edges and makes him very easy to look after. All he needs is a tickle with a feather duster every now and then.
He perches on a wreath adorned with two types of small peach and white flowers, accompanied by some leafy green stems.

Made with recycled 300 gsm paper, which has been hand printed.
Hangs on the wall via a steel hook, suspended on invisible fishing line at a 30 cm drop from the top of the wreath. This piece is lightweight and will hang on a nail or tack on the wall.
Varnished with a UV protective lacquer.
