For lounging around, nights in (or nights out!) and all year-round instant style; we don't want to take these off. Our limited-edition cotton robes are block printed by hand by our artisan team in India, then finished with contrasting borders and the most delicate piping we have seen, ever.

Our Ume print is inspired by the flowers of the Japanese apricot tree and our love of retro textiles. This kimono style gown comes in the most joyful colourway, perfect to brighten up your Monday morning and take you all the way to Sunday brunch.

When creating a woodblock print, the design is first traced onto translucent paper, to guide the block maker who then slowly carves it out of wood using a hammer and chisel. The printer then dips the blocks into a pad that holds the different dyes.
One block per colour is then stamped carefully and precisely by hand, to start building up the design, layer by layer.

These gowns are handprinted using traditional methods. You may find slight variations in pattern and colour as each artisan will print with different pressure, in his own way. We believe these add charm and tell a story, making each product unique.
