Our Portraits of Women illustrated calendar is a playful exploration of beauty and it's rules. Each portrait was created with it's own rule; 5 minute timer, painted in dim lighting, painted just with make up, resulting in 12 uniquely beautiful ladies to keep you company throughout year.

Each month has a 1/2 page illustration with listed calendar dates below and a section for notes at the end, so there is plenty of room for all the appointments and reminders needed!

"When looking at women's faces for this portrait project, I started to think about the rules, filters, tweaks and tricks that we apply to our physical appearances today. I decided to apply strict rules to my drawing too, and explore how they might restrict or enhance the outcome. Each drawing has its own rule, and with it, its own beauty."
