Painted in thick layers of Annie Sloan chalk paint. The decoration features antique florals. The decoupage has been printed in fade-resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. I have then hand-painted over the top to blend all of the components together in very thick, VERY textured layers and dribbles. The paint finish has been HEAVILY distressed, back to wood in some places and to reveal the yellow undercoat. The text reads, in the colours of the undercoat 'You belong along the wild flowers' a Tom Petty lyric. Finally varnished with a floor varnish to provide a durable finish.

This is an Antique refurbished piece and though sturdy and sound, It may have life marks, dinks, knocks etc. The drawers slide smoothly. No woodworm. The insides are good and clean. The stool is sturdy, fairly lightweight with no wobbles. Original bakerlite handles remain. The mirror no longer tilts and has a little fixing and damaging to the silvering but this compliments the distressed feel.

Dimensions: 103cm L, 53cm D, 72cm H, 154cm to top of mirror. The knee 'area' is 50cm H by 48cm wide. The stool is 41cm H, 45cm wide, 35cm deep leaving an 8cm high gap for knees. (A little section can be cut from the bottom of the stool legs to give a few more centimetres if required. )
