Description

An almond croissant is my favourite weekend breakfast, nibbled straight from the paper bag or brought home to savour with a cup of coffee. This is a card to put on the 'breakfast in bed' tray or to post to a fellow pastry-lover. It is a card for everyday occasions and is left blank inside to fill with your message.

The artwork on the card is a digital print of a my illustration which is collaged from layers of hand painted paper, with details drawn on top in watercolour pencil. While the original illustration is textured, the card has a smooth finish. On the back of the card there is a a different and smaller illustration of an almond croissant created in the same style.

Harriet-Jade Harrow

Penzance, cornwall

I am an artist and illustrator based in West Cornwall. I work in watercolour, gouache and pencil and I collage layers of hand painted paper to create textured illustrations. These are then digitally printed to make colourful, and mostly food inspired, greetings cards. I love to paint the seasonal ingredients on my kitchen table, as well as animals and flowers, and turn them into cards for you to fill with words of love.
