'Forever True Love'
Based on traditional sweetheart pin cushion kits that World War One soldiers would lovingly stitch to send home to their beloved's, these unique screenprinted and hand embroidered hearts are the perfect heirloom gift for someone special.

Inspired by this heritage, I've given this version a beautiful nautical twist, with a nod to vintage sailor tattoos and star mapping charts. No two hearts are the same, you really will own a unique piece of art!

Hand Screen printed with 3 bold colours of water based inks, and with hand painted details, these colourful hearts will bring a splash of warmth and cheer to any room. Finished with hand stitching and edged in pompoms to add just a little bit of colourful kitsch.

Each heart is hung with some waxed thread, so they can simply be hung up straight away on a nail or tac. They also look super mounted in a box frame, or as part of a collection of curiosities on a wall.

Lasercut on beautiful FSC certified Finnish birch plywood and polished with a layer of beeswax for protection.

Available in two printed colour ways... please choose the colour birds you'd like from the drop down menu. Pompoms may vary in colour, please contact me if you want to be specific and I'll try my best to help.

Your sweetheart measures approx 20cm x 24cm.

Each of these beautiful artworks is truly one of a kind. The screenprinting process, differing thread and pompom colours means that no two hearts will be the same. Please allow for slight colour and alignment differences from the image seen... this is the unique joy and beauty of screen printing!

The hand stitching is visible on the back, so the construction can be seen in all it's handmade glory!
