Created as a theme for my Christmas Cut Flower Wax Carving Workshop - this silver mistletoe has been a joy to carve. Every leaf, berry and stem is hand carved - at this time of year - in wooly slippers, next to the fire, hot chocolate to hand. Once carved, the wax mistletoe is cast in to silver or brass in the Jewellery Quarter.

Each and every one is unique, no two are the same. For this is the wonder of wax carving - heat strokes dance across the leaves and finger prints decorate stems. A process that celebrates imperfection.

An extra special Christmas decoration for gardeners, botanists and florists, or for those who appreciate a truly handcrafted specimen.

Hang from the mantel piece, suspend amongst dried flowers or add a touch of sophisticated sparkle to the tree. Understated and elegant, this is a decoration to delight all year round.
