Description

An exclusive fabric design which uses a cloudscape taken from the sky in an old master painting.

This original cloud fabric lampshade is a timeless design that will elevate any living space with its calm, meditative feel.

Need to know

This fabric design is taken from The Windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede, Jacob Isaacksz van Ruisdael, c. 1668 - c. 1670, which can be seen in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

This fabric is exclusive to Kettle of Fish Designs and has been designed and printed in the UK. Every detail of the original artwork is transferred onto a high-quality canvas fabric, including brushstrokes and faint crackles in the paint surface.

These shades are available as a 40cm or 45cm drum, for either a lamp or ceiling fitting. They are lined with a UV resistant, fire retardant backing which meets EU safety standards.

My work is distinctive and made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. By using vintage imagery and a rustic aesthetic, my pieces really suit homes that combine inherited pieces, random collections and secondhand finds.

Many of my materials are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.
