Description

Two clay clams are constructed together to make up the main part of the vase, then raised on a scallop shell style pedestal.
This Unique Hand build Vase is constructed and altered with a combination of a Scallop and Clam shell moulds and hand building techniques .
The textures on the white glazed surface sing through a natural white glaze, revealing the colour of the fired clay underneath.

Need to know

This Vase has been twice fired in the kiln . the second stoneware firing makes it strong and waterproof .

Stoneware Glaze fired to 1240 Degrees centigrade
